Our Story

The production of COCO & GUY is a family affair, led by the husband-and-wife team, Ben and Hampton. Since her early days working at Vogue, Hampton had been devoted to an über pricey face crème. Hoping to find a natural moisturizer that wouldn’t break the bank, she sampled a variety of tallow-based products made both in the U.S. and abroad. Hampton and Ben studied the steps to purify tallow and realized they could leverage Ben’s culinary expertise to create their own recipe for soft, supple skin.

Coco and Guy, their daughter and son, are the R&D and packaging teams; they quality test each batch and label the jars.
